Studio Display: A Mac Monitor
The Studio Display is a 27-inch Retina 5K display. It features a 12MP camera with Center Stage, three microphones, and six speakers with spatial audio. Video calls require no separate webcam or speakers.
The MacBook connects to the monitor with a single Thunderbolt cable, which carries both video and charging. The monitor's USB-C ports handle drives, a keyboard, and a mouse. At a desk, you don't need a docking station.
What to choose when ordering
- Stand: tilt-adjustable, tilt-and-height adjustable, or VESA-mountable. Cannot be changed after purchase.
- Glass: standard or nano-textured. Nano-textured glass diffuses light and is useful if the monitor is located opposite a window.
If the monitor is used by people of different heights, use a stand with height adjustment.
Studio Display or XDR
For text, code, photos, and regular video, Studio Display is sufficient. If you're working with HDR and color for print, check out Studio Display XDR.
The monitor is turned on in front of you at checkout, and the serial number is verified. Payment is due after verification, and the store comes with a 12-month warranty.
