HomePod

A room speaker: the sound is noticeably larger than the mini. Two speakers can be paired together to form a stereo pair—this is why they are often purchased as a pair.

HomePod: A speaker for the room

HomePod is Apple's flagship speaker. Its woofer delivers punchy bass, while five tweeters surround the base and distribute sound throughout the room. The speaker listens for sound reflections off walls and automatically adjusts the sound to its location. It supports spatial audio.

Why do they take it?

  • Music in the room: Two HomePod speakers are paired together to form a stereo pair.
  • Home Theater: HomePod connects to Apple TV 4K and plays Dolby Atmos sound.
  • Smart home: The speaker acts as a hub for HomeKit and Matter accessories and measures room temperature and humidity.
  • Safety: HomePod recognizes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors by sound.

Siri recognizes the voices of family members. Guests can play their own music via SharePlay, even without an Apple Music subscription. Intercom broadcasts announcements to one room or to all speakers in the house.

There are two colors: white and "dark night." If you need a smaller speaker for the kitchen or bedroom, check out the HomePod mini. They work together in different rooms.

At checkout, they turn on the water dispenser in front of you and check the serial number. The store comes with a 12-month warranty.
